Here's something to watch out for when looking for a car loan.

You want to finance your purchase for 48 months, but all the car compny will offer you is 72 month financing. They say that's the best they can do, and besides, the payment is much lower.

That's the only good news you'll hear. In truth you'll end up paying much more interest on a 72 month loan than on a 48 month loan. If they won't give you the terms you want, go somewhere else.

Always compare different loan agreements before making a final decision. Rates and fees can be significantly different from one company to another.
